Your Himalayan journey kicks off at dawn as you leave Kathmandu behind, tracing the serpentine Prithvi Highway through waking valleys toward the waiting mountains. Wind through Nepal's breathtaking countryside for 7-8 hours, past emerald rice terraces, the roaring Trishuli River, and timeless villages clinging to hillsides like nature's own masterpieces. On clear days, distant Himalayan peaks may peek through the clouds.

Arriving in Pokhara (900m), you'll immediately feel the relaxed lakeside vibe. Check into your hotel, then unwind by Phewa Lake's tranquil shores or explore the town's lively streets, with the majestic Annapurna range forming a breathtaking backdrop to your first evening.
