All visitors to Bhutan require a visa except citizens of India, Bangladesh, and the Maldives (instructions for these visitors are listed separately below).
As part of the visa application process, travelers must pay a Sustainable Development Fee (SDF) of USD 100 per adult per day (reduced rates apply for children) along with a non-refundable visa application fee of USD 40.
You can apply for a visa online by completing the application form. If you are traveling with a licensed tour operator or staying in a hotel, they can also submit the application on your behalf. Once you have the necessary information for each traveler, you can apply for yourself and others in your group.
