Day to Day Itinerary

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, complete immigration procedures. Afterwards, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in, where you can relax and prepare for the start of your journey in Nepal.

Following your first breakfast in Kathmandu, you will have some time to relax and pack for the journey to Pokhara. After breakfast, our team member will pick you up, and your drive to Pokhara will begin. The 200-kilometer drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara is a visual feast, transitioning from the capital's urban energy to Nepal's serene countryside. Following the Prithvi Highway, you'll wind through terraced farmlands, cross rushing rivers, and pass traditional villages where daily rural life unfolds. The well-paved but curving mountain road offers ever-changing vistas of the Middle Hills region.

On clear days, the northern horizon reveals breathtaking glimpses of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Arriving in Pokhara, you're greeted by the tranquil beauty of Phewa Lake and the city's signature relaxed vibe - the perfect prelude to your Himalayan adventures or a peaceful lakeside retreat.

A warm welcome breakfast accompanied by breathtaking views of the lakeside and the iconic Fish Tail peak. Your adventure begins with a picturesque drive from Pokhara to Hile, winding through lush river valleys and past traditional villages where farmers tend terraced fields. This scenic 2–3-hour journey gradually reveals the Himalayan foothills, preparing you for the trek ahead. Hile greets you with crisp mountain air and charming teahouses, the perfect spot for a final rest before hitting the trail.

The trek to Ulleri unfolds through rhododendron forests alive with birdsong, passing Gurung villages where you might spot local weavers at work. The 5 km route offers a pleasant 2-3 hour walk through stunning landscapes. Your day begins with a hearty breakfast in Ulleri before setting out on the 5-6 hour trek to Ghorepani (2,860m). The route passes terraced hillsides and blossom-filled forests, then challenges hikers with Ulleri’ s iconic 3,300-step climb, where sweeping mountain views await at the top. Along the way, pause at charming tea shops to refuel with warming ginger tea and local snacks while spotting glimpses of Annapurna South through the forest canopy.

After reaching Ghorepani, reward yourself at a rustic teahouse. If you’ve got energy to spare, chase the sunset up to Poon Hill for a panoramic spectacle of peaks painted in fiery hues. Today's trek 3-4 hour descent to Ghandruk (1,940m) takes you through enchanted forests where rhododendron petals carpet the trail during spring. The path alternates between shaded woodland and open hillsides, revealing ever-changing panoramas of the Modi Khola valley below. Watch for langur monkeys playing in the canopy and colorful pheasants darting across the trail as you descend.

Arriving in Ghandruk by early afternoon, you'll be greeted by one of Nepal's most picturesque Gurung settlements. 2. Best Time to Trek:

The best seasons are spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November) when the skies are clear and the rhododendrons bloom. Winter is also possible, but it can be cold at higher elevations.

The highest point is Poon Hill at 3,210 meters, so there is minimal risk of altitude sickness. It’s considered a moderate trek suitable for beginners with a basic level of fitness.

Teahouses (basic lodges) are available along the trail, offering simple rooms and hearty meals. Expect local Nepali food like dal bhat, as well as international dishes like pasta and pancakes. Hot showers and charging facilities may cost extra.
