When we arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, a representative will meet us at the terminal and ensure our smooth transfer to the hotel, where we can unwind and begin embracing the spirit of Nepal.

After a refreshing breakfast at your hotel, you’ll set off on a beautiful drive from Kathmandu to the lakeside city of Pokhara (822 m / 2,697 ft), covering approximately 200 km in 7–8 hours. The route winds through picturesque hills, terraced fields, and riverside villages, offering stunning views of the Trishuli and Marsyangdi Rivers. En route, you can enjoy local delicacies during a lunch stop and witness rural life unfold along the highway.

Upon arrival in Pokhara, settle into your hotel and relax by the tranquil Phewa Lake. Spend the evening exploring Lakeside’s vibrant streets, charming cafés, and peaceful lakeshore, an ideal introduction to Nepal’s adventure capital and natural beauty.

Begin your day with breakfast, then travel along scenic roads for about 3 hours to reach Naya Pul from Pokhara. Upon arrival, take a short tea or lunch break before beginning your trek toward Tadapani, your first overnight stop. The trail gradually ascends through lush forests, terraced farmlands, and charming villages, offering a gentle yet invigorating start to your Himalayan adventure.

As you hike, the view of Mt. Machhapuchhre, famously known as Fishtail due to its distinctive shape, becomes increasingly prominent. As you leave behind the main trail, the path gradually climbs, revealing peaceful alpine landscapes and occasional glimpses of grazing yaks and mountain goats.

As you ascend higher, the scenery opens up to dramatic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Bayeli Kharka offers a remote and serene setting for the night, surrounded by rolling hills and panoramic vistas. It’s a perfect spot to rest and soak in the tranquility of the mountains.

Today, you’ll trek from Bayeli Kharka to Khopra Ridge (2,975 m / 9,760 ft), descending slightly through lush forests filled with rhododendrons and oaks. The trail meanders gently, allowing you to appreciate the vibrant flora and occasional birdcalls as you make your way toward the ridge.

Upon reaching Khopra Ridge, you’ll be rewarded with stunning panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges, along with sweeping valleys below. This peaceful ridge is an ideal spot to relax, take in the breathtaking scenery, and prepare for the next day’s journey through the heart of the Himalayas.

Revered by locals and visited by Hindu pilgrims during festivals, the lake offers a unique cultural and natural experience. The trail is steep and rugged, with loose gravel and rocks, so take care and rest frequently to manage the demanding 1,800 m (5,900 ft) elevation gain.

After enjoying the serene beauty of Khayer Lake and a packed lunch, though a small tea shop may be open, you’ll descend back to Khopra Ridge for a restful overnight stay amidst stunning mountain views.

Leaving Khopra Ridge, you begin your descent toward Swata Village (2,270 m / 7,447 ft), following a scenic trail through alpine meadows and dense forests. As you reach Swata Village, the landscape transitions into terraced farmlands and traditional homes. This charming village offers a quiet, authentic atmosphere and a chance to experience local hospitality. As you approach Ghorepani, the landscape unfolds to reveal sweeping views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Ghorepani is a lively trekking hub known for its warm hospitality and stunning sunsets. Tonight, take time to rest; tomorrow brings the breathtaking hike to Poon Hill.

Following breakfast, begin your descent through rhododendron forests and charming villages toward Nayapul. The trail gradually levels out as you approach the lowlands. Upon reaching Nayapul, a private vehicle will transfer you back to Pokhara (822 m / 2,697 ft), where your trekking adventure concludes.
