After breakfast, you will travel from Kathmandu to Dhunche (1,950m) winds through Nepal's dramatic mid-hills, covering 120 km of ever-changing landscapes. After leaving the urban sprawl, the road follows the Trishuli River past terraced fields and traditional Tamang villages, climbing steadily into the lush foothills of Langtang National Park.

The final ascent to Dhunche is an adventure itself - a steep, switchbacking route revealing your first glimpses of snow-capped peaks. Arriving at this bustling mountain town, you'll feel the cooler alpine air and excitement of entering one of Nepal's most accessible yet pristine Himalayan regions.

The trek from Dhunche (1,950m) to Chandan Bari, also known as Sing Gompa (3,330m), is a steady uphill journey that takes around 5–6 hours. The trail begins with a gradual ascent through pine and rhododendron forests, offering occasional glimpses of the Langtang mountain range and the Trishuli River below.

As you climb higher, the air becomes cooler and the vegetation transitions to more alpine terrain. Along the way, you’ll pass small teahouses and may encounter local wildlife. Upon reaching Chandan Bari, you'll find a peaceful setting with a famous cheese factory and an old monastery, ideal for rest and acclimatization.

  • 04 nights' accommodation in Simple Lodge through the trek (includes breakfast and necessary trekking staff).
  • Your trek will be accompanied by English-speaking local staff and porters (1 porter for every 2 guests/ carrying up to 30 kg).
  • All ground transportation will be carried out according to the itinerary in a private/ air-conditioned vehicle equipped with bottled water and wet wipes.
  • TIMS card.
  • Nepal visa fees.
