Your day begins with breakfast at the airport before transferring to your domestic flight to Pokhara. The 25-minute journey treats you to breathtaking views as the Annapurna range reflects in Phewa Lake’s mirror-like surface. Upon landing, a scenic drive winds through emerald rice terraces and traditional Gurung villages, bringing you to Hile, where your trek begins. The fresh mountain air carries the scent of pine as you venture away from the last traces of civilization.

The path to Ulleri winds through vibrant rhododendron forests echoing with birdsong, occasionally opening to breathtaking views of the Himalayan peaks. Stone steps weave past cascading waterfalls and farmhouses where locals greet you with warm namastes. As dusk gilds the snow peaks, you’ll settle into a family-run teahouse, savoring steaming dal bhat while firelight flickers across the wooden walls.

After breakfast in Ulleri, your trek to Ghorepani begins with a steady climb through enchanting rhododendron and oak forests. The shaded trail offers cool mountain air and occasional glimpses of the Annapurna foothills through the trees. The famous Ulleri Steps, a challenging but rewarding stone staircase, lead you upward, with each turn revealing more breathtaking valley views.

Arriving in Ghorepani (2,850m), you’ll be greeted by the village’s simple teahouses and panoramic mountain vistas. The daylight hours welcome either immersive local experiences or restorative stillness before your sunrise mountain ascent.

Your day begins early with a pre-dawn hike to Poon Hill, a renowned viewpoint at 3,210 meters (10,532 feet). The gradual ascent through rhododendron forests leads you to a breathtaking sunrise spectacle. As sunrise ignites the snow crowns of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri, the mountains become towering pillars of flame against the morning sky.

After the mountains release their golden glow, we return to Ghorepani for sustenance, then journey through wildlife-rich terrain to Tadapani's lodges. The trail winds through dense forests and rolling hills, offering occasional views of Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre. In Tadapani, you'll relax in a simple teahouse.

Today, your journey continues from Tadapani to Chhomrong, following a scenic trail through dense rhododendron and bamboo forests. As you descend, you’ll pass charming villages and terraced fields while enjoying sweeping views of the Annapurna range. The path reveals the raw beauty of the region, with tranquil nature all around.

Chhomrong, located at 2,170 meters, is a picturesque village perched on a hillside beneath the towering peaks of Annapurna South and Hiunchuli. After checking into a simple teahouse or lodge, you can relax or take an evening stroll through the village, where warm local hospitality and breathtaking views await.

Continuing your adventure from Chhomrong to Bamboo, the trail takes you through stunning landscapes filled with lush forests and charming villages. Leaving Chhomrong, you’ll carefully descend a series of stone steps leading down to the Chhomrong Khola (river), surrounded by serene natural beauty.

After crossing a suspension bridge over the river, the path begins to ascend toward Sinuwa, a small settlement featuring a few welcoming teahouses and lodges. This peaceful stop offers a perfect rest before you continue trekking through the scenic Annapurna region toward Bamboo, nestled amid dense forests and mountain views.

Today’s trek from Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m) via Machhapuchhre Base Camp is both challenging and awe-inspiring. The mountain reveals new facets with every gained meter of elevation, Machhapuchhre’s forbidden summit growing more three-dimensional as you ascend toward base camp. From there, the views of Annapurna I and Hiunchuli are simply breathtaking.

The final stretch to ABC reveals a stunning natural amphitheater surrounded by towering Himalayan giants. At the base camp, you’ll settle into a teahouse, take in the golden alpenglow on the peaks, and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow trekkers. Tonight, you'll sleep wrapped in Himalayan silence under a celestial canopy in this high-altitude haven.

The descent from Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo marks the beginning of your return journey. Retracing the trail offers a new perspective, with familiar landscapes seen from a different angle. As you leave the sanctuary, you’ll pass through Machhapuchhre Base Camp once again, soaking in the stunning views of the sacred Fishtail Mountain. The trail then winds through rugged alpine paths, bamboo groves, and across suspension bridges.

After several hours of trekking, you’ll arrive in Bamboo, situated at 2,310 meters. This peaceful village offers a cozy teahouse for the night, where you can relax, enjoy a warm meal, and reflect on your incredible journey.

You’ll begin the final day of your trekking adventure by continuing from Jhinu Danda to Mathque. The trail descends through scenic landscapes, offering views of terraced fields and charming villages. Along the way, you’ll interact with friendly locals, gaining a deeper appreciation for the region’s rich culture and traditions. As you approach Mathque, the trail flattens, signaling the end of your walk.

Your final steps on the trail lead you to Mathque, where a vehicle will be ready to take you back to Pokhara. Once in the lakeside city, you’ll have the rest of the day to relax, strolling by Phewa Lake, enjoying local cuisine, and reflecting on your incredible journey.

After completing the unforgettable Annapurna Base Camp trek, you will board a short and scenic flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu. This 25–30 minute flight offers a final aerial view of the snowcapped Himalayan peaks, lush hills, winding rivers, and picturesque villages below.

As you arrive in Kathmandu (1,400 m / 4,593 ft), you’ll be transferred to your hotel, where you can unwind and reflect on your remarkable journey. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy, explore the bustling streets of Thamel, shop for handicrafts and souvenirs, or treat yourself to a delicious farewell dinner. Your Himalayan adventure ends here.
